I think the West Indies team is a better one-day team than this Indian side. But the absence of Sachin Tendulkar was the key. Sachin Tendulkar is a major factor in Indian cricket, take it or leave it. He can make a big difference in any series. Just look at the ICC Super Series, we lost all the one-day matches as well as Tests because he was not there

  • It is well known fact that they admire each other. What is really nice that Lara unlike others(read Ponting) praises the worthy opponents, giving credit where it is due. I remember hm going all out in praise of Kallis in the fifth one day in South Africa. He called it the best knock in one dayer's he had seen. Compare this with Ponting's comment on "selfish" Lara when he scored 400. It was as malicious a comment as possible, especially when it obvious that the way the Windies were playing then, chances of them losing was very high.

    The "we" here refers to the World XI and hence since Sach wasn't there with the World 11 due to his injury Lara says "we" lost :)

    It is 100% true. Indian team's very basic hierarchy will face a beating if GOD is not there.

    Without GOD, the team can achieve a lot in the matches. The media will praise the kids to a larger extent and suspecting the GOD to the same extent and writing him off.

    What these idiots, (those who bash the Almighty) lack is a sense of understanding ability

    These people have quite forgot what GOD did to the ENTIRE WORLD during the WORLD CUP(03)
    without GOD, the team would not have reached the FINALS.

    Before that world cup, they wrote him off (hailing kids like sehwag).
    BUT GOD made everyone to eat their words.

    Now also they are repeating the same.. (morons - Never learn ... Do they ? :-))

    Just like u, I AM WAITING FOR GOD'S DARSHAN IN THE TEAM AND

    Waiting for his THUNDEROUS PERFORMANCE IN THE FORTHCOMING WORLDCUP.

    I am sure at that time the goons will praise him as KOHINOOR DIAMOND etc

    What we have to do @ that time: - is to laugh at them for a while and ofcourse enjoying the MASTER IN ACTING :-)
