Pudhuppettai

I have never liked any of Selvaraghavan's movies [Thulluvadho Ilamai was atleast timepass] and about Dhanush's movies, the less said the better. Well, i did watch Pudhuppettai yesterday and i was pleasantly surprised. Namma Selva-va idhu??? Sullan-la nadicha Dhanush-a idhu? Going with only negative expectations, inow have only postives about the movie in my mind.

P.S: Check out how well the song "Neruppu Vaayinil", rendered superbly by Aandavar gels with the narrative :)

  • I think except for cinematography and music.there wasnt any major aspects in da film...all actors except dhanush juz lived the role while he juz over exaggerates!We can make out hez over acting!Some stupid and idiotic scenes in da movie!Selvaraghavan surely watches some good movies..I think goodfellas,godfather,Scarface and kill bill are his favs..Can see its influence!

  • that anony was me!Anyhow i think he dint overact per se but the characterization was exaggerated..the film is a good sign of improvement of our technicians..cant understand the censor board..Atleast now a gangster movie with obscenity,vulgarity and gore came out without any major cuts!Way to go for tamil cinema!This so called Gangster season has helped the industry mature!
