Why is the time always 10:10 in watch/clock advertisements?

its not 10:10 to be exact... some say that, its the birth time of lincoln and death time of churcill , or some other story like that... but the real reasons are given in this link below ..

Apart from the saying of lincon was shot at that time.The marketing theory goes likes this "most manufacturer's trademarks are just above the center pipe, and having the hands at 10:10 causes your eye to naturally follow the trademarks " .
