on that Hey Ram lines "marumurai varuvadhai solli...", is that a dig on Christ - I mean, who else talked about "meetezhuvadhu"? What is the meening of those lines? I am still intrigued because if Kamal takes potshots at religion, it is usually at hinduism? So, this is not anything to do with religion is my guess - I dont think he'll consciously and openly ruffle christianity though/evenif he might feel like that inside - so Im still intrigued by the meaning of these lines?

I too have this question in mind but it can also be applicable to "re-birth" - a belief of Hindus.

As i see it, it can refer to the Gita's "Yada Yada Hi Dharmasya..." and also to Christ...
"Jesus-e messenger dhAnE" in Anbe Sivam...
Like BNB had commented in the other post, Thala in his recent interview said he worked in a missionary (purely for money of course) and he understood the mechanics of religion, the objective of religious propaganda, how these systems work and suchlike.
