Kumudham was lamenting at the absolute lack of laughable humour in Thamizh stage plays and contrasted it with the certainty somebody like vadiveluu is able to make everyone LTAO. How true those statements sound.

Great one. The way he ends that scene will be amazing. and one kiladu comes and says
"Enakku ennamoe un mela thaan santhegamaa irukku" :-))

& there is one more panchayat comedy in some movie (forgot the name)
in which he irritates SAngilimurugan a lot with "enna enna enna"

Check that out between 1:00 and 1:10'the minute, the dialok between ManiVannan and Vadivelu. Velaiya Paarudaa En Soupu. If the script is right and tight , Vadivelu delivers without fail. BTW, he is from Pechiyamman Padithurai in AlliNagaram. Poora seenius payalungalum south tamil nadu dhaen - KH, maestro, Vadivelu. Hmm, ok Gounder is from elsewhere ;-)

I read that Kumudham article - glad someone finally called a spade a spade. These Chennai mamas are so out of touch and green with envy about the likes of Vivek, Vadivelu, Goundamani etc. Once Y.J.Mahendran claimed that Vivek's comedy was nowhere near his. I wonder how Crazy's movie dialogues usually work, when his dramas are so drab.

Yeah thats a great one too, the other Panchayat scene. Infact, one of my friends used his imagination and suggested that Saddam Hussein would have answered in the court in the same way.
"Enna nuclear weapons? Enna gulf war?" etc :)

I think the film you are referring to is English Kaaran, "Theeppori Arumugam(?)

Yeah, whats with these drama people? yevan sirikka vekkaraano avan dhaan comedian. And Crazy padathula dhaan velaikkavaan. S.V Sekar, on the other hand padathula avalavu comedy kidayadhu.
